Rex Grayner

University of California, San Diego '92

Rex Grayner was a 3-sport athlete at Linfield HS in Temecula, CA and spent the majority of his life around San Diego & Orange Counties until moving to the Denver area in 2004. He played 4 years of college baseball, including 2 years at Division I Loyola Marymount University and 2 years at UC San Diego.


Rex began helping athletes & parents with the college recruiting process around 1994, when he was coaching a competitive high school travel team and realized that a majority of his players were struggling to attract attention from college coaches. With more than 18 years’ experience, he has now assisted over 5,000 families.


Rex earned a master’s degree in Sports Management at Central Michigan University. He is a former editor of BlueChip Illustrated magazine, served as a NCAA Division I Compliance officer and has consulted with numerous organizations on the topic of college recruiting. He is a 2008 Denver Business Journal Forty Under 40 award recipient, and he currently resides in Parker, Colo. with wife Kristin and his two children, Reed and Olivia.
